Kaitlin Byers is a dynamic leader with a strong background in education and community development. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Drake University, which laid the foundation for her career in education. Kaitlin began her professional journey as a First Grade Teacher at Colegio Decroly Americano, demonstrating her commitment to early childhood education. She then transitioned into roles that combined her passion for education with community development, serving as a Development Officer at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and as a Director of Development at the New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative. Kaitlin also held the position of Capital Access Manager at the same organization and later became the Director of Development at Summit Schools. Currently, she is the CEO of MarryMyCity.
