Josh Bonner is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party who has been serving in the Georgia House of Representatives since 2017, representing the 72nd district. He was initially elected in 2016 to represent Fayette and Coweta Counties. Bonner holds significant roles, including Vice-Chair of both the Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee and the Creative Arts & Entertainment Committee. Beyond his legislative duties, he manages Southeast Properties, Inc., brokering commercial assets in the South Metro region. A University of Georgia graduate, Josh Bonner served as an active-duty Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army and continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. He has also been a Deputy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer.
