Mina served as a Military Police Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army, gaining valuable experience in military operations and discipline. Transitioning to civilian law enforcement, he joined the Orlando Police Department, where he climbed the ranks to become the Chief of Police. His leadership and dedication to public safety led to his election as the Sheriff of Orange County.
