John Ignatius Kane Sr. is an American politician and trade union leader who has been serving as a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 9th District since 2021. Kane's career includes his role as Business Manager at Plumber's Union, Local 690, where he has been instrumental in advocating for workers' rights and labor interests. He holds a high school diploma from Cardinal O'Hara High School.
