Jodey Cook Arrington is an American politician and business executive serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 19th congressional district, which encompasses a significant portion of West Texas, including Lubbock and Abilene. A member of the Republican Party, Arrington has been influential in various roles throughout his career. He has served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2017. Prior to his congressional service, Arrington held positions such as Special Assistant to the President and Associate Director of Presidential Personnel at the White House, Chief of Staff for the FDIC Chairman, and Vice Chancellor at Texas Tech University System. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Public Administration from Texas Tech University and a Certificate in International Business from Georgetown University.
