He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law. Huffman's career includes significant legal and judicial roles, having worked as a prosecutor and later as a judge at the 183rd Criminal District Court in Harris County. Additionally, he served as a secretary in the Harris County District Attorney’s office.
