Jason Meredith Reese was a distinguished British engineering scientist, renowned for his contributions to the field. Born on June 24, 1967, Reese served as the Regius Professor of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh from 2013 until his passing in 2019. His academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, followed by a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School. In addition to his academic roles, Reese served in the U.S. Navy Reserve and worked in the private sector, where he conducted legal research and drafted legislation. His legislative experience extended to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, showcasing his diverse expertise in both engineering and law.
