Jared Lynn Patterson is an American politician from Texas, affiliated with the Republican Party. He has been serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from the 106th district since January 8, 2019, after being elected in November 2018. Patterson is noted for being the most right-wing member among the 85 Republican representatives during the 2023 regular session. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and completed his high school education at Whitesboro High School. His professional background includes roles such as Real-Time Power Trader at Dynegy, Sales Representative at Tristar Producer Services, Inc., and Director of Energy Services at Rapid Power Management. He also served as Outreach Committee Chair at The Energy Professional's Association of Texas and was a Council Member at Sachse City Council.
