Greg Walden is an American politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Oregon's 2nd congressional district from 1999 to 2021. As a member of the Republican Party, his political focus encompassed various sectors including energy, telecommunication, public lands, and healthcare. His legacy involves chairing the House Energy and Commerce Committee from 2017 to 2019 as well as the National Republican Congressional Committee from 2014 to 2017. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Walden worked in the radio industry and served in the Oregon House of Representatives.
