Gobierno de Cuba, also known as the Government of Cuba, is a socialist one-party state, the Communist Party being the leading and only legal political entity. Under a Marxist-Leninist totalitarian system, it employs a planned economy and controls the means of production. The Government is structured into several branches, with the President serving as both the head of state and government. Policies and decisions are significantly influenced by the Communist Party of Cuba, which ensures nationwide control and implementation of socialist principles. The government also maintains absolute control over all public broadcasting and communication outlets within the nation.
