Gerald Martin Pollet is an American politician and lawyer, currently serving as a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 46th District. Born and educated in the United States, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Government from Clark University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin. Pollet initially lost the race for his current seat in 2008 to Scott White but was appointed to fill the position on December 5, 2011, after David Frockt moved to the Washington State Senate. In addition to his legislative work, Pollet serves as a Clinical Instructor and Faculty Member at the University of Washington School of Public Health and is the Executive Director of Heart of America Northwest. His career is marked by a commitment to public health and environmental issues.
