Gale Adcock is an American politician and seasoned family nurse practitioner affiliated with the Democratic Party. She has been serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate representing the 16th district since 2023. Adcock previously represented the 41st district in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2023 and held the position of Deputy House Minority Leader for one term. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor's in Nursing from East Carolina University and a Master's in Nursing from the University of North Carolina. Adcock’s diverse career spans various roles, including Chief Health Officer at SAS Institute, Adjunct Faculty at multiple universities, Mayor Pro Tempore and Councilmember for Cary Town Council, and State Representative in the North Carolina House.
