FIGC

The Italian Football Federation, known as Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC), is the governing body of football in Italy. Established in 1898, it is responsible for managing all aspects of professional and amateur football, including national competitions, national teams, and the appointment of referees. It's also a member of UEFA and FIFA, organizing Italy's participation in international competitions. The authority and responsibility vested in the FIGC have been instrumental in promoting and developing the sport throughout Italy.
