Erin Alisa Zwiener is an American author and Democratic politician currently serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 45. A committed advocate for environmental and educational issues, she has a diverse background in conservation and writing. Zwiener holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts/Creative Nonfiction from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Montana. Her career includes roles as a freelance writer, education coordinator and instructor at the University of Arizona, forestry coordinator at the Blackfoot Challenge, and conservation coordinator at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Additionally, she has served as a teacher in a community writing program and is the author of "Little Red Riding Boots."
