Eric Sorensen is a distinguished public figure and meteorologist currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 17th Congressional District. He pursued his education at Northern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree. Prior to his political career, Sorensen built a notable career in meteorology. He served as the Chief Meteorologist at 13 WREX and KTRE, as well as the Morning Meteorologist at KLTV. Additionally, he held the position of Senior Meteorologist at WQAD News 8.
