Emily Williams is a New Zealand-born Australian singer and songwriter who gained prominence in 2005 as the runner-up on the third season of Australian Idol. Following her success on Idol, she signed with Sony BMG Australia and became a member of the popular girl group Young Divas. The group released two top-ten albums, "Young Divas" (2006) and "New Attitude" (2007), and scored three top-fifteen singles, including the hit "This Time I Know It's for Real." After Young Divas disbanded in 2008, Williams pursued a solo career, releasing her debut single "Spellbound" in 2010 and her first solo album "Uncovered" in 2012. Williams continues to develop her music career independently.
