Ed Fitch (1937–2024) was an influential American writer and a prominent figure in the development of contemporary Wicca and Neo-Paganism in the United States. As a High Priest of the Gardnerian Wicca tradition, Fitch made significant contributions to the occult literature. Beyond his literary achievements, Fitch was involved in local government and law, serving as the Mayor of Redmond City, City Attorney for Redmond City, and Land Use Hearings Officer in Deschutes County, Oregon. His diverse career reflected a dedication to both his spiritual beliefs and civic service. Fitch resided in Austin, Texas, for a period, where he continued his work and influence in both the spiritual and legal communities.
