The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is the governing body for the United States Democratic Party. It organizes the Democratic National Convention held every four years to nominate a presidential and vice-presidential candidate, drafts party policy, and coordinates the party's election strategy. It works at both national and state level, providing strategic guidance, financial support, and logistical assistance to Democratic candidates and officeholders.
