Desrie Campbell is an elected official serving as the Vice Mayor of Fremont, California, representing District 2. She has been a public servant throughout her career, initially working on campaigns for D.C. City Government and later for a lobbying firm on Capitol Hill. After relocating to California in 1993, she became involved with community-based organizations like the Fremont Education Foundation and ABODE Services. Desrie previously served on the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education for ten years, representing over 35,000 students and their families. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Campbell also holds a Master's in Governance from the California School Boards Association. She was elected to the Fremont City Council in 2022.
