Denny Heck is a well-known American politician and diplomat. Born on July 29, 1952, in Vancouver, he served as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 10th congressional district from 2013 to 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, Heck has held positions in both the private and public sectors throughout his career. He is also a co-founder of TVW, Washington State's public affairs network. In 2020, Heck left the house of representatives and was elected as the Lieutenant Governor of Washington.
