Dan Strauss is an accomplished public servant with a strong background in political science and public administration. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Whittier College and furthered his education with a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Oregon. Strauss has dedicated much of his career to serving the community, currently holding the position of Councilmember for District 6 in the City of Seattle. His commitment to public service is also demonstrated by his involvement with AmeriCorps, where he served as both a Corps Member and a Team Leader in the National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC). Strauss's extensive experience in civic engagement and leadership underscores his dedication to fostering community growth and development.
