Curren De Mille Price Jr. is a seasoned American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party, currently serving as a Los Angeles City Council member for District 9. His political career is marked by significant roles at both state and local levels. Price was elected to the California State Assembly in 2006, representing the 51st Assembly District, and was re-elected in 2008. He then advanced to the California State Senate in a 2009 special election, representing the 26th Senate District until July 1, 2013. At that point, he resigned to assume his current role on the Los Angeles City Council.
