Congreso is a non-profit organization headquartered in Philadelphia, serving the Latino community in the areas of education, employment, health, and social services. Founded in 1977, Congreso’s primary goal is to alleviate poverty and promote economic self-sufficiency to ensure a resilient and productive community. Its services aim to address critical social issues such as high school dropout rates, teen pregnancy and domestic violence, providing comprehensive support through a culturally competent lens. Utilizing a unique data-informed approach, Congreso continually assesses community needs to create effective, targeted programs.
