The Confederación Hidrográfica del Tajo (Tagus Hydrographic Confederation) is a public organization in Spain, under the Ministry for Ecological Transition. It is responsible for managing the water resources originating in the Tagus river basin. The organization is tasked with planning, developing, and supervising water resources, managing public water domains, and monitoring water quality within the Tagus river basin. Spanning across Spain and Portugal, the Tagus is the longest river on the Iberian Peninsula.
