Comision Federal de Electricidad

Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) is Mexico's state-owned electric utility company. Established in 1937, it is responsible for the generation, transmission, distribution, and commercialization of electric power to nearly 100 million customers. The company operates numerous hydroelectric plants, thermoelectric plants, wind farms, and nuclear power plants. Over the years, CFE has significantly contributed to Mexico's energy infrastructure and plays a major role in the nation's push towards renewable and sustainable energy sources.
