Chris Sununu is a prominent American politician and a member of the Republican Party. Born on November 5, 1974, he holds the position of the 82nd governor of New Hampshire, a role he has occupied since January 2017. Prior to his governorship, he served on the New Hampshire Executive Council from 2011 to 2017. He is known for his pragmatic, business-focused approach to governance. As the son of former New Hampshire Governor and White House Chief of Staff John H. Sununu and the younger brother of former U.S Senator John E. Sununu, he continues a strong family legacy in politics.
