Chad McMahan is an American businessman and politician, serving as a Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate for the 6th district, which encompasses parts of Itawamba and Lee counties. He has been a member of the Mississippi Senate since 2016. McMahan holds a Bachelor's degree from Union University. Before his tenure in the Senate, he gained valuable experience in the private sector as Director of Strategic Sales at Great Southern Industries, Inc., and as Public Relations Manager at Reed's Metals. His political career also includes serving as a Councilmember for the Guntown City Council.
