Carole Delga

Carole Delga is a prominent French politician who has been serving as the President of the Regional Council of Occitanie since January 2016. Born in 1971, she earned a degree in history and worked in the civil sector before plunging into politics. She was appointed as the Secretary of State for Commerce, Crafts, Consumer Affairs, and Social and Solidarity Economy under the minister for Economy, Industry, and Digital Affairs in 2014. Earlier, she also served as a member of the National Assembly representing Haute-Garonne's 3rd constituency and was a part of the Social and Environmental Economy (EESC) during her distinguished political journey. Delga is a member of the French Socialist Party, La République En Marche! party, and the Occitanie / Pays Catalan party.
