Candace Andersen is a distinguished public figure and attorney with a robust career in local government and law. She earned a high school diploma from Punahou High School and furthered her education at Brigham Young University, where she obtained both a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and a Juris Doctor (JD). Andersen has served in various capacities, including as a Council Member and Mayor for the Town of Danville, and as a Council Member for Morgan Hill City. Her legal career includes roles as an Attorney at her own practice, Candace Andersen Attorney at Law, and as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and Law Clerk in Honolulu. Currently, she is a Supervisor for District 2 on the Contra Costa County Board.
