Camara de diputados de la nacion

The Camara de Diputados de la Nacion is the lower house of the National Congress of Argentina. It is composed of representatives from all the provinces of the country, who are elected by citizens under a proportional system. The number of representatives is directly proportional to the population of the province they represent. The main functions of this institution include proposing, discussing and approving laws, as well as monitoring the actions of the executive power. It upholds a crucial role in the Argentinian democratic system.
