Brian Keith Evans is an American former professional basketball player and politician. Standing at 6'8" and weighing 220 lbs, Evans played as a forward. He began his basketball journey at Terre Haute South High School in Indiana and continued at Indiana University from 1991 to 1996, where he was a standout player for the Hoosiers and earned the title of Big Ten MVP in 1996. Evans was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 27th overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft and played in the NBA and other leagues. Academically, Evans holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Arkansas State University. Beyond basketball, he has served as President & CEO at L&L Freight Services, Inc., a board member at Cabot Public Schools, and a representative for District 68 in the Arkansas State House of Representatives.
