Bob Vasquez is currently serving as the President of the Toledo Public Schools Board of Education. He was elected to this position in January 2025, alongside Chris Varwig, who became Vice President. Vasquez has been a member of the TPS Board since 2008 and previously held the presidency in 2020. As part of his role, Vasquez is committed to addressing challenges and celebrating achievements within the district. The board members are responsible for overseeing educational policies, advocating for funding at local, state, and federal levels, attending school events, and making decisions on curriculum and financial matters
