Blue Sky Studios is an American computer animation film studio based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Known for award-winning films like 'Ice Age,' 'Rio,' and 'Robots,' it has made a considerable impact on the animation industry since its inception in 1987. Blue Sky Studios is renowned for its expertise in CGI animation, attracting an international audience with its detailed storytelling, compelling characters, and innovative technology. The studio was owned by 20th Century Fox and was later acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2019. Sadly, in 2021, Disney announced the closure of this iconic animation studio.
