Binali Yıldırım

Binali Yıldırım is a prominent Turkish politician who has held several significant positions in the government of Turkey. Born in 1955, Yıldırım is a member of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and served as the Prime Minister of Turkey from 2016 to 2018. He also served as the Minister of Transport, Maritime, and Communication multiple times, a role in which he oversaw major infrastructure projects. In addition, he was elected as the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly from 2018 to 2019. Despite his controversial tenure, Yıldırım is highly respected in his party and has proclaimed a commitment to pursuing a path of growth and development for Turkey.
