William Paul Cole III is an American businessman and politician affiliated with the Republican Party. Born and raised in West Virginia, Cole has built a notable career in both business and politics. He served as a member of the West Virginia Senate, representing the 6th district from 2013 to 2017, and held the prestigious position of Senate President from 2015 to 2017. Before his tenure in the Senate, he briefly served in the West Virginia House of Delegates from 2010 to 2011, filling a vacancy. Cole's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in History from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor from Columbia University. In addition to his political career, he has served as the owner of Cole Law Firm, PLLC, and as Mayor of Billings City.
