Bethany A. Hall-Long is an American politician and academic who has served as the 26th Lieutenant Governor of Delaware since 2017. A dedicated member of the Democratic Party, she has an extensive career in public service and healthcare. Hall-Long was a member of the Delaware Senate from 2008 to 2016 and served in the Delaware House of Representatives from 2002 to 2008. Her academic background is in health policy and nursing administration, holding a Doctorate from George Mason University. Hall-Long has also been a nursing faculty member at the University of Delaware and previously worked as a nurse at Thomas Jefferson University. Her commitment to public health and education has been a cornerstone of her political and professional life.
