Berat Albayrak

Berat Albayrak is a Turkish businessman and politician who has had a significant influence in Turkey's economic and political landscape. He served as the CEO of Çalık Holding, a Turkish conglomerate, before transitioning into politics. He was elected as a member of the Grand National Assembly for the Justice and Development Party in 2015. Following this, he held the position of Minister of Energy and Natural Resources from 2015 to 2018, and then served as the Minister of Treasury and Finance from 2018 until his resignation in 2020. He is the son-in-law of Turkey's President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
