Assam Government
The Assam Government is the governing authority of the Indian state of Assam, located in the northeastern part of the country. Administered under the parliamentary system of government, it is constituted of an executive, led by the Governor of Assam, a judiciary, and a legislative branch. The Governor is the head of the state while the Chief Minister is the head of the government.
