Before entering politics, Delgado worked as a litigator for Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. He demonstrated his political prowess and deep commitment to public service during his congressional tenure, emphasizing on issues related to agriculture, health care, education and job creation. Not only does he possess a strong academic background with degrees from Colgate University and Harvard Law School, he is also celebrated for his talent as a former professional rapper.
