Alejandro Murat Hinojosa

Alejandro Murat Hinojosa is a prominent Mexican political figure, serving as the Governor of Oaxaca since 2016. He is a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). Born on August 4, 1975, Murat Hinojosa is the son of former Governor of the State of Mexico and PRI leader, José Murat Casab. Prior to his gubernatorial role, he served as the director of the Federal Institute of Telecommunications and as the head of the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers. His leadership focuses on issues of public infrastructure, housing, and aiding underprivileged communities.
