Aile ve Sosyal Politikalar Bakanlığı, also known as the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, is a governmental body in Turkey responsible for promoting and strengthening family structure, as well as implementing social inclusion policies. The responsibilities include protection of children, elderly, handicapped and disabled citizens, along with improving the status of women, promoting family structure, preventing domestic violence, and social support for needy families. Its aim is to ensure every section of society can participate actively in social life, develop policies for an equitable society as well as support social services and assistance to those in need.
