DCSD has for far too long had unfair dress code that mainly affected women. Where they were treated like items and something to stare at, not real human beings. Rules such as covering your shoulders, chest/stomach, and back. Also the “fingertip rule.” Women are not items and should not be treated as such. No one is sexualising shoulders, stomachs, backs or knees and if they are, they need therapy. Stop. Sexualizing. Women's. Bodies. Darlington County School District fix your policies so that they are more reasonable, considerate, and fair because your current policies aren’t fair or just, and disproportionally impact women.
