Dear Speaker Jeffries,

We are writing to you today as concerned citizens who deeply care about the future of our democracy, the well-being of our country, and the preservation of our rights. This petition is not meant to be disrespectful, but rather a call for urgent and necessary action. It is a plea for you to listen to the people, to listen to us, the citizens who have lost faith in the direction the Democratic Party is currently heading.

The days of following norms, decorum, and pretending that civility alone will win the day are over. For too long, we have seen the Democratic Party, and its leaders, maintain an approach of dignity and restraint, hoping to outclass their opposition. But this strategy has not only failed us, it has directly contributed to the rise of the Trump autocracy. We must ask ourselves: where has this approach led us? Answer: To a country that feels divided, misled, and on the brink of losing its democracy.

The messaging strategies currently in place are not working. We cannot continue to rely on outdated platforms and traditional media channels. X (formerly Twitter) is filled with misinformation, disinformation, and is under the influence of a man, Elon Musk, who perpetuates these false narratives, messes with algorithms, and even allows Russian propaganda to spread unchecked. The Democratic Party’s continued use of this platform is only allowing the very dangerous and false narratives to grow. We must abandon X before we further expose ourselves to the toxic influence that is reshaping our political landscape.

It’s time to recognize that the American people have lost faith in the Democratic Party. The party needs a dramatic shift in how we communicate with voters. We must adapt to the current moment, or we risk losing everything. If you want to recruit millions of new voters to defend democracy, you must meet them where they are, on the platforms and channels that actually speak to their lived experiences. The mainstream media has, in many ways, failed us, aiding in our downfall. CNN, MSNBC, and traditional avenues are just not cutting it.

It’s crucial that you expand your media presence beyond these platforms. Embrace podcasts and radio shows, tailored to specific demographics, as this is the evolved and effective way to connect with people. Whether young or old, Americans are increasingly turning to these forms of media for truth, relevance, and authenticity. The new "world order" of media is already here, and without our engagement, we are doomed to lose.

Furthermore, Speaker Jeffries, there are critical issues you and the administration have failed to address. You yourself spoke of the suspicious nature of the results in six of seven swing states in the last election, yet no one else in the party has spoken out about the blatant election tampering and fraud that took place. Why have these serious concerns been ignored?

Why has no one addressed the bomb threats that took place on election night? Why has there been no response to the devastating disinformation campaigns that flooded platforms like X and Polymarket? Why do our NATO allies openly discuss Russian and Elon Musk’s interference, yet we remain silent?

Romania took the drastic step of nullifying their election due to interference, but we have heard nothing from our leaders in response. Why was there no mention of the fact that two days after the election, when Trump did something to irritate Putin, Putin’s top advisor went on Russian State TV and explicitly said that Russia helped him win, and now the bill is coming due? Why have we not addressed these facts?

Additionally, the public admissions from Trump about Elon Musk's role in rigging the election, why was that ignored? Musk’s early knowledge of the results before we had them, his open discussion about manipulating ballots, and his comments on the ease of swaying elections, these things are not minor. Why haven't you taken into account the Musk has a form of Autism, and there is no filter between thought and mouth and we should believe what he says out loud? Why have we not taken these issues seriously?

It is time to ask why, as a respected and young leader, you continue to adopt outdated Democratic tactics that have failed us. Why have you not followed the lead of individuals like AOC and Jasmine Crockett, who have shown an unwavering commitment to humanity and to fighting for justice?

Your leadership must evolve, Speaker Jeffries, or the Democratic Party, and the democracy we love, will disintegrate. We cannot afford to continue down this trajectory. You must listen to the people and take action. Humanity, innocence, and the future of our nation are at stake.

I have emailed, called, and left messages with your office multiple times with no response. This letter is not meant to offend, but to spark meaningful change. It is urgent, and it is critical. I respectfully request a face-to-face meeting to discuss the future of our country and the actions we need to take.

Please do not allow the party to continue down this path. Our future, and the future of our children, is at risk. We both anxiously and hopefully await your response.
