Petition Update: December 20, 2024
Your Petition signature still matters! Yes, many are STILL upset about the April, 2024 Cancellation of So Help Me Todd. My Documentary will explore the possibly illegal actions that led to the cancellation of So Help Me Todd, along with 4 other popular, Strike Honoring CBS Television Series, with the hope that enough fan awareness will keep the possibility of reinstating So Help Me Todd and other unfairly cancelled CBS Television Series.

Petition Update: Nov 24, 2024

There has been a substantial shift in focus in regards to the eventual release of the So Help Me Todd Documentary. CBS may be less than 50% responsible for the Cancellation of So Help Me Todd. It appears Paramount Streaming has played a big hand in undermining CBS's authority over CBS scheduling and programming decisions. Dots are being connected that reveal a struggle between Scripted Broadcast Television and a Streaming Industry that ridiculously thinks they know the business of Scripted Television better than Linear Television Networks. The time has come to stop bowing to the bloated egos of Streaming Network Executives and place Prime Time Scripted Linear Television Programming at the top in terms of importance, before Streaming Networks completely neuter the Linear Broadcast Scripted Networks into Unscripted, Reality TV Bubblegum Entertainment.

Petition Update: Oct 1, 2024. You can voice your concerns about So Help Me Todd's Cancellation and the Partial Boycott of CBS on our Facebook site.

An upcoming CBS Documentary will reveal the multiple ways CBS violated the Striking Union Members Rights by making scheduling decisions that resulted in premature cancelling of 5 Strike Honoring, CBS Television Series, including So Help Me Todd, NCIS Hawaii, Blue Bloods, Bob Hearts Abishola,  and CSI Vegas.

CBS had their opportunity to create a “Family Friendly Friday Night” line-up of So Help Me Todd, Elsbeth, and Matlock; for their Fall 2024 schedule that could have helped keep teens safe at home on a Friday night.

CBS’s decision to not create a “Friday Family Fun Night” revolving around quirky, teamwork driven characters that do not rely on guns and bullets while learning to trust their frenemies, was their chance to do right by their viewers by offering a Fun Night for Families to stay together on a Friday Night. It would appear CBS requires more network self-examination to ferret out the flawed, one dimensional analysis used for cancelling popular, heart warming shows such as So Help Me Todd, that are receiving glowing recommendations by thousands of Todd Fans.

Whereas several networks seem intent on building multiple similarly themed programs on the same night that are part of the same franchise; CBS turned its back on 3 remarkable leading ladies; Academy Award-winning actresses Marcia Gay Harden and Kathy Bates, and Emmy Award-winning actress Carrie Preston; in what could have been a dame franchise night of programming.

Incredibly, CBS has its own 24/7 rerun broadcast network called Start TV that is entirely based on women playing the leading roles in previously produced content spanning the past few decades!

What could have been an amazing “Family Friendly Friday” night line-up of So Help Me Todd, Elsbeth, and Matlock; (while moving the existing Friday night line-up to Thursday) will never come to pass as CBS is NOT in mourning over a lost opportunity to harmonize family togetherness viewing habits on a Friday night. These 3 CBS shows reveal a common trait of showcasing quirky, somewhat dysfunctional characters who are able to surpass their flaws and continue to function, thrive, and succeed; a great message to send to teens who are not sure how they fit in their own lives and in their own future.

In what universe does a network turn their back on family viewership and 3 multi-nominated and award-winning female leads? Why deny families their own night of block programming where they can bond with their own kids by watching and discussing quality, family entertainment, together?

It is time for CBS to "Hug it Out", with the Fabulous 5 Television Series they presumptively cancelled.
