There was no physical evidence  demonstrating he was the shooter. DNA evidence tied six other men to the scene of the crime, several of whom admitted being present but denied being the shooter, in order to  uphold a conviction that is based in substantial part of false and misleading evidence that was put forth by the state to undermine Mr. Paine's credibility in a case with no physical evidence tying him to the crime would be contrary to the due process protection plan voted for in the 6th and 1st amendments of the United States Constitution.  Family, Friends and the public please read, sign & share my petition. This petition is for the freedom of Lawrence Paine and to every broken and one-sided system which is mostly cruel and against principal set fourth in our constitution Lawrence writes." I will share something with you that you that you will never get an answer from those who violated my rights but there is a mind blowing example, which many different one's will be found in multiple cases here in Wisconsin example # 1, the crime lab stated "The gun used in this crime would be a certain make and model with a right hand twist and grooves and  shells where of a certain brand" And they did find this brand upon a man who DNA"S matched the crime scene. Months later a total match down to the shells even what was left added , A full magazine when you include what was found at the crime scene,  but when trail started and ballistic analysis said" He was never given a gun to test" and the DA and my Lawyer refused to ask him , "Why" His name is on a document saying it didn't match and the serial numbers are blacked out and on an appeal the circuit court Judge refuse to allow me a hearing to question this and other things. There is evidence that they are holding and not showing. If given the opportunity upon examining everything that was not shown to the jury. My rights have been violated. I am  asking people to help me by signing my petition because I'm innocent and my mother is and and has my family has severely suffered knowing  of this torment and expiriencing it with me  torment of being in prison and being innocent however, the forensic  advancement we have now will determine  My DNA was never found at the crime scene because I was never there and I'm innocent of all charges.
Support now I am a concerned citizen, and the #1 fan of Lawerence Paine I am deeply troubled by the alarming number of innocent individuals who are wrongfully convicted for crimes they did not commit. This issue hits close to home for me because I have witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences that wrongful convictions can have on innocent lives and the families that spend years trying to get someone  to just listen and we are thankful to  the  voice who spoke on Mr Paine's behalf regardless what came with it in order to make sure this does not continue and justice will be served, Mr. Frank Parlato @ frankreport.com please read article

In 2019 alone, there were over 2,500 exonerations in the United States, according to data from The  Exonerations.  hi Innocent individuals are being stripped of their freedom, dignity, and future prospects due to flawed investigations, unreliable evidence, prosecutorial misconduct, and inadequate legal representation.

Wrongful convictions not only rob innocent people of their liberty but also perpetuate a cycle of injustice within our society. Families are torn apart as loved ones endure years or even decades behind bars for crimes they did not commit. Meanwhile, true perpetrators remain free to commit further harm in our communities.

The consequences extend far beyond individual cases; wrongful convictions erode public trust in our criminal justice system as a whole. When innocent individuals are wrongly imprisoned while guilty parties roam free, it undermines faith in law enforcement agencies and casts doubt on the fairness of our legal processes.

It is imperative that we take immediate action to address this grave injustice plaguing our society. We call upon lawmakers at all levels of government to prioritize reforms aimed at preventing wrongful convictions and rectifying past injustices:

1. Strengthening investigative procedures: Law enforcement agencies must be held accountable for conducting thorough investigations based on reliable evidence.

2. Ensuring access to quality legal representation: Every individual deserves competent legal counsel throughout every stage of the criminal justice process - from arrest through trial - regardless of their financial means.

3. Implementing mandatory recording of interrogations: Recording the entire interrogation process will provide an accurate record of events, preventing coerced confessions and enhancing transparency.

4. Expanding access to post-conviction DNA testing: Allowing access to advanced DNA testing methods can help uncover new evidence that may prove innocence or identify the true perpetrators.

5. Establishing conviction integrity units: Dedicated units within prosecutor's offices should be created to review past convictions, identify potential errors or misconduct, and work towards exoneration when necessary.

By signing this petition, I urge lawmakers and criminal justice officials to prioritize these reforms in order to prevent future wrongful convictions and rectify past injustices. Together, we can ensure that our justice system upholds its fundamental duty of protecting the  innocent and delivering true justice for all.

Lawrence Paine  The DA allowed their false testimony and eliminated anything or anyone who might have contradicted it. I was in custody the whole time. I learned about a lot of the evidence years later. Parlato One of the most important witnesses that would have contradicted Howard and Donald was Sherika Ray. She lived downstairs from where the two men were slain. According to documents that were later revealed but suppressed at the trial, Ray told Homicide Detective Gilberto Hernandez that about 10- 12 people fled the apartment after the gunshots, including at least one woman. Did anybody bring it up in the trial that there were more than just two witnesses?  Paine  The State didn’t go into anything contradicting what Howard and Donald testified. The information about more people being there was not revealed until after I was convicted. I wasn’t there. I had no way of knowing a group of people fled. The State of Wisconsin did not call Sherika Ray. Parlato  Did the prosecutor give the jury the impression that the only people at the murder scene were you, Donald, Howard, and the two slain men? Paine  That’s how they presented it. My sister contacted Sherika Ray. She told my sister that the police said to her that if she came to court to testify, they wouldn’t be able to protect her. The State didn’t want her to take the stand. Ray told Detective Hernandez that Ronald Terry and George Donald threatened her life.  Parlato  The prosecution maintained you made up the character ‘Skin’ Blackman. Before you turned yourself in, you were staying with a woman, Zenobia Davis, who you claimed overheard you speaking to Blackman.  Paine  She told the police about a phone call I had with Skin before I turned myself in. She heard me on a phone call when I learned I was a suspect, and I said to him, I was thinking aloud at the time, and I said, “But I was at the club with you, wasnt I?” The police tried to spin it and said I was building a false alibi. They said, “Mr. Paine was on the phone trying to get Blackman to say that he was with him.”  But the video footage shows I was with him. That conversation with Skin was just me trying to remember something that happened 30 days before. I had no reason to remember everything or anything that night. Nobody is doing that. Nobody’s living a life remembering what they did every single day, not day to day. I’m on the phone with Skin, and I’m like, “wasn’t I there with you that night?” The State took it as an opportunity to take something innocent and make it sinister when obviously, it wasn’t. But they had the video and suppressed it. The entire time they knew that I was telling the truth. They had this video the whole time. Parlato  Do you think the motive for the murder of the two men was robbery? Paine  Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. I mean, absolutely. And it is not something where you have to even take my word for it. You saw the [suppressed police] report from the woman downstairs. Sherika Ray said she heard one of the men say, “so this is robbery.” Robbery is more plausible than anything else.  Parlato  Howard initially told police that you killed the two men because Harrington insulted you, because you parked a stolen station wagon at the back of his house. Did you have a stolen car? That station wagon, was that stolen? Paine Absolutely not. Parlato Was any evidence presented at trial that established you owned that car and it wasn’t stolen? Paine  No, there was never anything about a stolen car at the trial. The stolen car argument changed because a witness at the first trial testified there was no station wagon behind the house. At the second trial, the witness didn’t testify. His name was Derek Reed. He testified at the first trial that he dropped off Harrington. Parlato  Did Derek Reed say you were there at the house that day? Paine  No, sir. He said he dropped off Harrington, and there was no car parked behind that house. Parlato  Reed was in the first trial but not the second trial? Paine  He didn’t testify at the second trial. He was somehow not available. They did not call the downstairs neighbors. They had people who described the vehicles parked in front and behind the house. My vehicle was not in anyone’s description.  Parlato Do you know where Ronald Q. Terry, Eric Howard or George Donald are today? Paine  No, I don’t know where none of those guys are.
