New Yorkers are suffering because of the constant fireworks.

People can't sleep, and many are terrified to leave their homes at night.

Children are getting traumatized, rudely being woken up at all hours of the night.

Vets in NYC are warning people that dogs and cats are dying from stress and fear, they cannot eat or sleep.

Seniors and the medically vulnerable are unable to rest causing their condition to worsen. 

Veterans are having flashbacks and are suffering.

There has been a 4000% uptick in fireworks complaints and NOTHING has been done. 311 operators transfer the calls to 911 who then go on to ignore the issue and not do anything about it. Night after night the city is being run ragged. Folks cannot not function without a restful night's sleep. Sleep deprived children are having difficulty focusing and staying on task, they are acting more impulsive and defiant.
