"We the undersigned who live or work in Redbridge note that:

Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals Trust have reported 55 child deaths at King George and Queens hospitals linked to air pollution for a three year period ending March 2022. The trust will not release the full postcodes of the dead children so we cannot tell if living close to a road is a factor in these deaths. And asks:

1 Redbridge Council to investigate these deaths to discover if living close to a busy road is a factor in these deaths.

2 Write to Sadiq Khan, the London Mayor requesting a London wide study of child deaths linked to air pollution takes place.

The petitioners would welcome the proposed two studies above to allow policy makers and the public to be informed about the risks of building housing close to roads
