Dear City of Davis Parks and Community Services and City Council, 

Three years and three petitions later, our community continues to urge transparency and fairness regarding the Arroyo Park Zipline. 

As of March 10, 2022, the City has once again permanently closed the Zipline until its relocation. The decision to close and relocate the zipline was made without input from, and in direct contradiction to the April 2021 recommendation of, the Recreation and Park Commission.  The absence of transparency continues to be worrisome.  

My signature on this petition indicates my desire to keep the Zipline at Arroyo Park.  While we'd like to see it remain in its current location - so as not to not waste precious City dollars - we are also ok with it moving somewhere else in Arroyo Park such that this issue can, once and for all, be put to rest.
