The Issue

This petition seeks to implore the Hennepin County District Attorney office in Minneapolis, MN to reexamine the case of Jermaine Ferguson. Despite serving a significant portion of my sentence, I believe that there are crucial elements of my case that have not been adequately considered. According to data from The Sentencing Project, as many as 160,000 people in U.S prisons may be innocent (source: The Sentencing Project). This statistic underscores the importance of regular and thorough reviews of convictions. By signing this petition, you're supporting a fairer justice system and advocating for those who might have been wrongfully convicted or excessively sentenced. My co-defendant one whom has been released and the other who will be released soon. While I am sitting in prison with a 129-year sentence for a crime I did not commit. Both co-defendants on my case confessed to the crime and stated. I was not involved with the crime that took place. Please sign this petition and urge the Hennepin County District Attorney to reevaluate my case. Thank you in advance for your time and support.
