The Iranian regime is murdering its own people for no reason other than to suppress freedom and individual rights. Iranians have the right to live freely, to express their thoughts and aspirations without fear of persecution or violence. The current regime has made this impossible, using brutal tactics to silence dissent and cling to power.

The recent protests in Iran are a desperate cry for help, a demand for change, and an appeal for support from those who believe in human dignity and personal liberty. Tens of thousands of demonstrators have been imprisoned, tortured, or murdered. 

The regime has dropped a veil of secrecy around the entire country - suppressing the internet, closing social media sites, and barring the use of mobile phones. 

As a result, it's nearly impossible to obtain reliable information about the extent of the abuses and killing being committed by the religious authorities and the government. Nevertheless, reliable sources estimate the number of killings by the regime and their allies have reached as many as 100,000.

We urge journalists and media outlets to act courageously and cover the massive abuse being perpetrated against the people of Iran by their government.

We further urge governments around the world to stand with protesters against tyranny and oppression and to reaffirm the values of human dignity, personal liberty, and simple justice.

This means the toughest possible sanctions against  Iranian officials responsible for human rights abuses, amplifying the voices of the protesters, and providing platforms for dialogue that can lead to meaningful change in Iran.

it also means the use of appropriate force to decapitate the regime, take into custody its leaders, and hold accountable Iranian officials for crimes against humanity.
